Jindabyne
Every year Kane (Gabriel Byrne) and his friends go fishing in the high country, near Jindabyne, New South Wales. However, when Kane’s wife Claire (Laura Linney) discovers that during the men’s recent trip, he found the dead body of a young Aboriginal girl abandoned in a river, the relationship between the couple begins to suddenly break down. Another powerful and emotionally complex drama from the acclaimed Australian director Ray Lawrence (Lantana) that examines the effect of an act of violence on a single community through the story of an unravelling marriage.
